Um....like..Surprise! The most stylish, edgy, retro, airbrushed male in American Idol's history...is gay. Good for ya, precious.
The SS went to see 'Dirty Blonde' at The Signature Theatre (Recipient of the 2009 Regional Theatre Tony Award), this past Friday evening. Great 'Mae West' show! It was a spontaneous decision for me; since, I was stood up by a friend who has been begging for us to meet!!! Do you know who I am? No problem...I stomped that grape energy and turned it into wine. Surprise to me...it was "Pride Night." I just knew that the audience was going to be fun! As my ticket was being printed, I was told.."You can never have too many Gays in your life." Well, my solo 'date' night was a night full of pride (lol). Too much fun! The SS ALWAYS has a plan B.

As The SS reported, a couple of days ago, Spike Lee was hosting a Block Party in Brooklyn on 08/29/09 (MJ's 51st Birthday). One of my Brooklyn friends called to inform me that it was raining cats and dogs....and that it may be cancelled. Well, the pics below indicate that the show must go on; come on now, especially in Brooklyn. Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, Free (original 106 & Park host), Ed Lover, Al Sharpton and many others attended this amazing event.

A New Look for Cheating Men

Well....well....well. A wife in VA, determined to prove a point, has punished her husband in a clever way. This man stood in a busy Tysons Corner crossroad, displaying a sign "I CHEATED THIS IS MY PUNISHMENT." Obviously, the hubby wanted to make things right with his wife. She called him, after TWO hours (!!!!) to inform him that his punishment was complete. She had found evidence of his infidelity on his mobile phone. Uh Oh!

Beyonce may be Billboard's Woman of the Year and considered the Queen Bee. However, in Ukraine....she was asked to give up her suite at the Donbass Palace hotel. Why? Apparently, Viktor Yanukovich (candidate for the presidency) requested the "presidential apartment." Oooooooo. The hotel apologized and gave her a different room. Oh, precious.

The King of Pop would have been 51 years old on August 29th. A day-long Birthday Block Party, in honor of Michael Jackson's 51st birthday, is scheduled to be set outside the King of Pop's childhood home on Aug. 29th. The party will end with a candlelight vigil (please bring candles).

This dress is only...only...only recommended, if you can work it! Kerry is obviously working out and maintaining her marketable look. Although the dress is a hit, the shoes are a loss! These are not the correct shoes to wear with this dress. First of all, the heel is too low. This dress should have been worn with a hot platform or strappy stiletto. The dress is quite dramatic and the shoes are borderline Corporate America on Business Casual Day.

Prosperity Preacher Laid to Rest

Either you loved him or not; in any case, this household name had many followers. Dr. Frederick Eikerenkoetter, aka, "Rev. Ike" was laid to rest today. My dear friend called to tell me about the star-studded occasion. People were posing and taking pictures, in front of Rev. Ike's two cars. Well, not just any cars. More like, a green Rolls Royce and a sister Rolls Royce in black. Shirley Caesar, Sarah Dash, Bishop Carlton Pearson (where has he been?) and many others were in attendance. Church folk never disappoint with the DRAMA! Rev. Ike was a stylish man and check out his son.

Jigga and O! **Update from 8/10/09**

Well, it seems Ms. O had a change of plans...change of heart...or change of nerves. I suppose that when she stepped into Brooklyn, she was like "Oh, Sean, daw-ling...this is going to be fabulous." When she stepped out of Brooklyn, it was like, "Not, my show!" News on the street is that Jay will be featured in O magazine. Unfortunately, he will not be appearing on the television show. Too bad. I was looking forward to a NEW Fall line-up.

Extreme Makeover

Fella's, just the other day I gave praise to all black. I am still a fan. However, Brad has gone to the extreme opposite of the color spectrum. He is rocking all cream with HOT shades. I told you that the shades are important. Actually, Brad probably has his own wardrobe of sunglasses. This look is scrumptious! Men take notes! The SS wants to see more dressed up Gents.
