These are the signs of the times. The recession has made a bad style impression. Juicy Couture, the terry cloth jogging suit gone wardrobe platinum....is leaving Madison Avenue. Why? It is hard to believe; yet, it is true. I suppose if I had to dish out approximately $2 million a year for RENT...I would bounce, also. Crazy! However, for some strange reason...I believe they will be back. These ladies are constantly thinking of something to add to their collection. Shoes, handbags, dog carriers, charm bracelets, sundresses, blouses, jackets, fragrances, etc. Everything! I just cannot believe that they are gone forever. Everywhere I turn and every store that I peruse....Juicy is there! Well, except Target. You never know.... Isaac Mizrahi moved from Couture Lane to Tar-jay. Just a thought.
