Karl Lagerfeld has embarked upon a new journey and it is a cartoon. Yes! Mr. Lagerfeld will be lending his voice, as the villain, for a French children's movie. The name of the movie is "Totally Spies" and it is based upon a long-running television series, in France. The villain's name is so fitting and one of my favorite words...Fabu. Well, we all know Chanel is more than Fabulous and its artistic director is sure to be Fabu in his latest project.

Work it! First Lady Michelle Obama looks fantastic in this canary yellow Michael Kors suit. She honored design honorees at the White House, today. The event was part of the 10th anniversary of the Smithsonian's National Design Awards.
“What I love about design is the artistic and scientific complexity that becomes useful — a laptop, a bridge, an outfit — all drawn from a thousand wells of inspiration yet grounded in the basic principles of math and science,” Obama said.

Okay. It is quite obvious that Precious is going through a little something in her life. We can blame it on her successful and extremely talented sister. However, what is the real story? It appears that everyone seems to have a different viewpoint of Solange's new look. What I see....is hair breakage along the edges and hairline. Just sayin'. I also see this being a project that she may have initiated with her own hands. The beautiful thing about this new look.

Have you seen J. Lo, lately? Did she really have twins? Jennifer looks wonderful! This jewel inspired sheath by Karta, with hand-crafted beading, is divine. This is a simple look that could accomodate almost any woman, depending on the length and the size. If you are an avid, exercising queen...this dress could have you looking fabulous and svelte. However, if you are teetering on the edge pending another donut.....you could end up looking like an elephant in a bodysuit. So, choose carefully. In J. Lo's case, she has been taking care of herself and it shows. The Berkin bag adds flair and class to this selection.

How would you like to take a field trip through Posh's wonderland, closet? Honestly, could you imagine? She has so many styles and always looks great! Precious has 3 children, a stellar husband and she always REPRESENTS! In this particular ensemble, Victoria has paired high-waisted sailor trousers with a polka-dot veil (well....it is fairly sheer). The polka dot pattern is subtle and the grey accents keep the look understated.....yet, posh.

This wardrobe ensemble is simply classic. An outfit that will carry you from season to season is imperative; especially, in this economic turmoil. Charlize is wearing a light-weight, 3/4 length black jacket and a lightweight jersey dress. What I love most about this look is the peek-a-boo chiffon beneath the coat. These items were paired with a trendy pair of black gladiator sandals. Although she is wearing all black, a hint of color was added to accentuate the waist and to break up the monotony. Charlize attended a soccer event benefitting the Africa Outreach Project. Great look.

Have you seen the latest hairstyle of First Lady Michelle Obama? Well, it is being compared to the former First Lady's 'do. The amazing fact about ethnic hair is that it can be molded, pinned, sculpted, shaped, pressed, twisted, braided.... I am reminded of the "Shrimp options" scene in the Forest Gump movie. First Lady Michelle Obama did not cut her hair to mirror the look of the Former First Lady. Her hair was simply pinned.

Yeah, this should be an interesting questioning....and, um....answering session. Chris Brown is about to tackle one of his fiercest and most impactful interview, to date. I am certain that he will not have a teleprompter to assist with this meeting of the minds. Oprah is going to WEAR HIM OUT!!! Yet, everyone deserves a second chance....another chance. There are a lot of people experiencing that silent killer of abuse (physical, domestic, mental, sexual, emotional, etc.). It occurs in the normal world, every second and you may or may not be a victim yourself. In any case, Chris will be on stage to redeem what he has left of a career.
I am certain that he still has some die-hard fans on the horizon, anticipating his come-back. The man is talented, young and handsome.... he deserves another opportunity. This interview with Oprah could make or break him....so, is Oprah a believer? Does she tap her feet to the "Umbrella" remix with Chris and Rihanna or "On and Poppin." These songs are infectious and within 30 seconds to a minute, you are destined to move some part of your body. Well, I am on the sidelines pending the comeback of Chris. What actions do you take or have you taken, when driven to the brink of utter annoyance?

Whitney's Listening Party was held, last night in New York. The following were in attendance: Diane Sawyer, Martha Stewart, Sway,Andre Hurrell, Gayle King, Steve Harvey, Antonio L.A. Reid, Freddie Jackson, Dionne Warwick and Cissy Houston. Plus, many more of the exquisite believers, makers and shakers. Whitney is back and she looks fantastic! She is focused and ready to launch her latest project. In life, it is important to have a support system. A few great friends, mentors and heroes. It takes a village to raise a child and it takes a village to stay child-like. Life is a rollercoaster filled with unexpected twists and turns. Yet, one of my favorite quotes is so appropriate for Whitney and life in general: "A bend in the road is not the end of the road, unless you fail to make the turn." So, turn baby...Turn! Love Him or Hate Him...

Luv Him!!! Yes....I understand...he is arrogant, sensitive, sexy, chocolate, conceited, strong and FINE!!! Well, then again, this is my opinion and I am a T.O. lover. Monica looks great! Her haircut is amazing and she has not gained a pound (even after 2 children). Awesome! I am loving the MJ Swarovski wonder. Totally cool! Yet, I am troubled by "Diva Christian." Apparently, one of the top Makeup Artists in Atlanta. Ok. Makeup Artists are usually capable of doing all (most, in this case) things well...from a creative perspective. Is the Lace Front Wig adhesively, too low (...ooops-Girl, it still looks good...we're late, gotta go. LET'S GO!!!) or does Diva Christian have an anatomy of the forehead issue? You be the judge. I'm just sayin... Wait! I figured it out! The Incredible Hulk.

I am like totally reminded of the 80's. This trend is like totally getting to be...like..out of style. Um...like...the mohawk, dude. Give it a rest. I like...think...I wanted to rock this hairstyle about 3-5 years ago. Yet, it is popping up in like different variations. I want to, like, blame the hairstylists. I mean, like really, who else is there....to like....blame? What do you think? Oh! Maybe, it's like....a cathartic thing. Ok. I like...get it...like, now. Another One Bites the Dust!

These are the signs of the times. The recession has made a bad style impression. Juicy Couture, the terry cloth jogging suit gone wardrobe platinum....is leaving Madison Avenue. Why? It is hard to believe; yet, it is true. I suppose if I had to dish out approximately $2 million a year for RENT...I would bounce, also. Crazy! However, for some strange reason...I believe they will be back. These ladies are constantly thinking of something to add to their collection. Shoes, handbags, dog carriers, charm bracelets, sundresses, blouses, jackets, fragrances, etc. Everything! I just cannot believe that they are gone forever. Everywhere I turn and every store that I peruse....Juicy is there! Well, except Target. You never know.... Isaac Mizrahi moved from Couture Lane to Tar-jay. Just a thought.

Fantasia and the cast of The Color Purple are now at the Kennedy Center in D.C. The girl can siiiiinnnngggg! According to The Wiz reviews, maybe her appearance would have taken the show to another level. The Wiz bombed! In any case, Fantasia has a new Glam Squad and they are apparently working overtime.
