The Style Sage takes the Stage....

Welcome! The Style Sage takes the stage and will be featuring a plethora of fabulous productions. Life is a stage and must we remind you, life is short..... and this is not a dress rehearsal. So, as we launch this production, our focus is to feature style as the foundation. There are many variations of style, such as: fashion, music, home decor, art, food, speech, writing, etc. The selections are endless and we are excited to be granted the opportunity to educate and entertain you.

It is so amazing to be able to launch this vision, at the end of such an amazing month. February 2009 has been full of excitement, entertainment and style. The Style Sage will recap some of the highlights and have some fun with other "breaking news." Have fun! Live Life, Love Life and Laugh! Highlights: New York Fashion Week, President Barack Obama's first 30 days and The Academy Awards.

New York Fashion Week:
The Style Sage was walking down the Bryant Park runway and was approached by an AOL Style Editor. How fitting? As she complimented and asked for an interview....could The SS resist? Naaaaah. So, pictures were taken....poses struck and information was exchanged. Exciting and just in time, to take a seat at the Diane Von Furstenberg show. This show was the highlight of a cool, Sunday afternoon and The SS was so happy to be in the midst of such greatness (Andre Leon Tally, Tim Gunn, Diane Sawyer, Zoe, Diana Ross, etc.). These are some favorite pics......oh joy!

The first 30 days- Mr. President Barack Obama:
President Obama has officially been named the King of Multi-Tasking! He has tackled so many issues and addressed plenty of concerns, all during his first 30 days. He appears to be so calm, cool and collected....as he, the first African-American President, faces the issues head-on and has been focusing on relieving the USA of this economic migraine. Let us take a peek at the good times. Sit tight, we may not get an intermission for a long while.

The Academy Awards:
Amazing, timeless, authentic, vintage and simply stylish gowns graced the red carpet. The highlights before the main event are so exciting. We can really digest the details, texture, colors and jewelry of this fabulous occasion. Hugh Jackman was incredible, entertaining and hilarious. The SS believes that this Academy Awards was probably the best we have ever seen. Do you agree?
